The Goat wins it
After a damn good schizo mocha this morning at the Goat, I finally decided: the Laughing Goat is the most consistently good coffee shop in Boulder. I’ve never had a bad coffee at the Goat and usually they are very good. I cannot say the same even at the other “best” shops in Boulder (i.e. Saxy’s, The Cup, Joe’s, Sidney’s, Amante). Even though some of them serve perhaps slighty better roasts, the Goat’s good consistency is impressive, and its Kaladi roasts are always fresh, strong and flavorful. Kudos, Goat! Even when you’re slammed at 8 in the morn, your top-notch baristas are still pumping out consistently awesome coffees. Keep up the good work!

You know, I came here to learn about where to find some good coffee in Boulder and you know what I learned? I learned that whoever writes this little “blog” has their panties in an enormous bunch. I’ve seen all the snippish comments and the attitude in the writing. I’ll bet you girls wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a Yummy-pulled Fucchiato half-caff with gnarly CREEEEEEEMA swirls and a cup of Folgers instant in a blind taste test. This site has an enormous chip on its tiny little shoulder.
You’re what’s wrong with Boulder (very long list, there). Or do you even live here anymore?

jesus commenters, if we suck so bad why are you reading and commenting? it’s kinda hard to take you seriously when you’re telling us why nobody should take us seriously.
finally, please take the task off our hands. you’re more than welcome to start your own boulder coffee shops blog so all boulderites can read your awesome shop reviews. good luck with that! we’ll even post links to your blog and regularly promote it on ours.

I agree with Mojo! I’m so much cooler than you guys. And I know waaaay more about coffee. I’m what Boulder should be about. Although…I’ll never post a constructive comment, offer to contribute an opposing post or review a shop. But you better believe I’ll be the voice of negativity all along the way. Yeah, you guys suck.

“Kaladi roasts are always fresh” HAHAHA laughable!
Kaladi has this “special technique” where they want the shops to freeze their coffee to keep it fresh, what a crock of $hit!
It’s amazing what lengths people who don’t want to roast their coffee fresh will go to to keep selling stale coffee!
How about you roast it fresh to order, not keeping a months supply on hand and then you won’t have to freeze it!!!

Here’s a tip – it’s just coffee. When it comes right down to it, no one fucking cares. That’s right. No one. Never have. Never will. Honestly, I think coffee shop owners are some of the saddest lot I’ve ever seen. You MUST be one.
